This is the info I have on my Grandpa Julian McCoy’s parents and siblings. If any of you finds an error, let me know. I got some of this information – names and twins, for example – from my mother. William Andrew McCoy (Aug 19, 1854 - Feb 9, 1923). On Feb 12, 1884 he married Sarah Elizabeth Sallie Brooks (June 3, 1863 - Aug 26, 1938). Sallie had 3 or 4 sets of twins. I haven’t been able to confirm all of them, but her first pregnancy resulted in stillborn twins. I don’t know if they were named. William and Sallie’s other children were: Effie Elizabeth McCoy (Nov 9, 1886 – Oct 15, 1975) Effie married Noel Pierce Denton Theodosia Emma Doshie McCoy (Nov 11, 1888 – Dec 29, 1972) Doshie married Clifford Dixon Sudia Munira Nira McCoy (Mar 1, 1890 – Sept 3, 1966) Nira married Jim W. Sammons Willie Pearl Mccoy (Jan 8, 1892 – May 2, 1978) Pearl married Linton S. “Son” Denton, brother of Noel Julian Jerome Buddy McCoy Sr …my grandpa… (May 21, 1894 – Dec 14, 1986) married Minnie Lee Sellars Bonnie Belle Mccoy (Sept 4, 1898 – Sept 26, 1981) Bonnie married Ezra Flournoy Minton Jonnie L Mccoy (Sept 4, 1898 – Jan ?, 1899) twin to Bonnie Mattie Mae Mccoy (Feb 2, 1900 – Dec 23, 1938) Mattie married 1st to Drewery H. Branch. After Drewery’s death she married Bruce Chalker . Tommie Alberta Mccoy (Sept 27, 1901 – Jan 12, 2001) Tommie married Lew Edward Hester Thomas Mccoy (Sept 27, 1901 - ?) twin to Tommie Clara Mamie McCoy (Jan 17, 1905 – Feb 11, 1970) Clara married George Dewey Waller Clarence Manning Mccoy (Jan 17, 1905 – Apr 15, 1961) twin to Clara. Clarence married 1st Ruby Lee Murray. After her death he married Leila Mae Anderson Ocie Elton Mccoy (Mar 7, 1909 – Mar 12, 1909)
