This is the key to knowing that we glorify in times of trouble. It may not feel good at the time, but the fact that we are yet able to cry out to the Lord makes the word alive in the tabernacle which is our bodies. In knowing that during the time that this tribulation is evident and a present means of depression we can find solace in knowing that there really is nothing that we have experienced that the Lord didnt experience on a Godly scale. How could this happen I guess you would ask? It is because even though Jesus humbled himself when he found himself in the fashion of a man (Philippians 2), he humbled himself even to the death on the cross; he was yet at that time the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 1) and even though he took on the flesh that is vulnerable to all things (John 1:1-17), he yet had the spirit without measure (John 3:25-36). This is how all things are accomplished in him with joy. Even in the time of sorrow; He was most depressed when in the Garden of Gethsemane because he humbled himself and did not want to die. Even though he is God in the flesh his mortal body did not want to die. Even though he is God in the flesh he never experienced death or the grave on a human scale... Just food for thought.
