...This is the last night of the 45th Anniversary of Woodstock, and with all the trivia I have seen and heard over the years, I realized that no one has ever mentioned this fact (I figured this out earlier today when I was looking at the times the artists played at Woodstock) ... I realized that Johnny Winter went on at the time Jimi Hendrix was supposed to go on (Midnight August 17th/18th)...Due to scheduling problems, everything got pushed ahead, roughly 9 hours, so Jimi Hendrix went on Monday at 9am, instead of his scheduled midnight slot, (which is a pretty well known fact), but no one ever mentioned that Johnny Winter went on at the time Jimi was supposed to go on....which to me is really cool since Jimi and Johnny are two of my favorite guitarists! ....Its nice to know that even though Jimi didnt get to go on at midnight, Johnny did ....Im posting this just before the time that Johnny Winter took the stage: ...Midnight,(EDT) Sunday August 17th/18th 1969..... .......R.I.P.
