This is the lovely Zena we have brought over from Corfu. She has spent the last two years living as a street dog, surviving two winters, the poisoning that takes place at the end of the season, and a failed attempt to dump her at another village. She is showing remarkable improvement as our assessment of her continues so we can build up a picture of her. As you can see she has taken to our settee, even nicking Sakima, our huskamutes favourite spot. She has shown excellent control in home training, something we thought we would have to work on, being a homeless dog, and happily will go in a crate and is very relaxed in one. She was also supposed to be not a very good car passenger, that has also proved to be an easy task and now happily will get in the car. Up to now we have found, that she can be food aggressive, cant blame her if she has had to fight for everything, but thats easily remedied but feeding her separately. She doesnt seem to like black animals, birds, one of our four cats, and black dogs, like my mates service dog. She is incredibly affectionate and loves to play and happily approaches everybody, again part of her begging for food at a holiday resort, no doubt. We are looking for somebody, if possible who like us lives by the sea or a semi rural place, thats all that Zena has known and we feel she will be happier in similar surroundings. She is approx. two years old, Spayed, up to date with all her vacs, worming and flea treatment, microchipped and is passported. Being a crossbreed , we reckon her to be definitely part greyhound, with either, malamute or Mastiff, she would also require 6 ft high fencing, certainly until she gets out of the free spirit attitude she has. Any questions about Zena please contact us
