This is the most disturbing piece I have read for awhile. Reading through the article, it makes you think that two-third of the population in Afghanistan engages in paedophilia. Although it might exaggerate the extent of the problem, there is no doubt that bacha bazi aka paedophilia has been rampant in most part of the country and - judging by the number of youtube videos - it appears that it has lately turned into a social tragedy. Being a father, it does really get under my skin but, even more important for us as a collective whole, how could this egregious practice go unnoticed under nose of a conservative Islamic nation with 5000 years of history?
