Thank you for contacting us in regards to obtaining a list of Halal certified products sold within Woolworths. ?????, unfortunately there is no central register of Halal products sold in Australia and therefore we are unable to provide you with one upon request. Although we are unable to provide a list of Halal certified products, if you would like to know where a specific ingredient within a product is derived from in order to make a decision on whether a product is Halal suitable or not, please respond by return email with your specific product enquiry. Woolworths does ensure that every product it sells is guaranteed by the producer to be true to label, fit for sale in every respect, and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. I can confirm that our Woolworths Own Brand products are not Halal certified, including our own brand meat products. With regards to its fresh meats, Woolworths requires humane slaughter, which includes pre-stunning as part of the slaughter process. Woolworths is not Halal certified and or accredited so therefore cannot certify products as Halal.
