This is the song which kept my spirit connected to my baby daughters when they were first stolen from me by our abuser. The day I left the courthouse, I do not remember driving the hour and a half home, but when I arrived, I walked into our big beautiful new dream house mansion (as my baby Vivi calls it, she was just 3 years old), I stood in the middle of the house and I looked around, as I was staring at my daughters beautifully filled playroom, I put my hands on the high top table, and I flipped that table as hard as I could right into the floor to ceiling windows. It was February, in Minnesota, and the cold was brutal. Then I fell to the floor. With my hands clutching the chunks of glass I looked and saw my phone. I crawled over to it, and this song came to me* I played it on repeat for the next 35 days, which is how long he kept them from me initially, also called the isolating stage of brainwashing, finally, after 35 days I received a telephone call. It was my baby Vivi, just 3, she was screaming on the phone mommy I need you mommy I need you. For twenty minutes she screamed for me. Followed by a click as he had just disconnected us. It was a week or more before I got the next call from my daughter Sophia. She was trying to tell me something and he was listening and following her around.
