This is the toughest post Ive had to write in a while so please bear with me. When I first got invited to be one of the oracles on the Pythia page, I was both honored and excited. I always welcome the opportunity to find avenues of serving Apollo in a way that benefits others, and my primary path with him has always been oracular. I found out, however, that Brandie (the main creator and admin) has been receiving requests to perform magic for others on the page. I dont have a problem with this. The problem is that one of the requests was for a binding spell to bind an intended lover to someone. I have screenshots of the conversation as a reference. Brandie not only agreed but admitted she had done something similar and it worked. I am praying at this point that it wasnt Todd as I know the two are engaged. I personally have a HUGE problem with such spellwork and can neither support it nor be a part of it, and thus I am leaving the page. Such binding spells are in my worldview highly unethical, have nothing to do with being spiritual, and have no place in serving Apollo let alone as any sort of seer or oracle of his. I do not believe in interfering with anyones will. I know that I had invited hundreds of people to like it and that people joined up knowing I was a part of this endeavor. To those people: Im really sorry. I know that not everyone feels the same way I do about such spellwork, and thats fine. There may be others who think I should be a part of it regardless. I know that no matter what I do or how I phrase this post, people will be upset with me. So be it. Thing is, I have to be true to myself. If people are looking for similar services from me in the future for oracular work, I have been working on it for the past few months and its in the works both on Facebook and on the web. I will keep people posted. Again, Im sorry. But people need to know.
