This is the traditional Gothic Sound. It is not demanding in the slightest, more rather, it explores the facet ov pain brought on by mankind and almost pleas for a resolution. This, in my opinion, is a more grim version ov the Holy melody whereas the church commonly resides on a glorious tune in praise or diety worship, and this does not. The Gothic sub-culture ov the time period or fashion in which this piece was created was not solely based on negativity or the aspects there-ov as popularly believed but a longing for a release ov those negative energies instead. Today, a different approach has been taken, allowing for many different forms ov darkness to ensue it, leading many trends into creating others like the Emo trend that has passed and has all-but transmogrified into something else.. -Harley
