This is to inform that Mount Carmel College, Bangalore has announced the 2nd edition of the Mount Carmel College Parliamentary Debate, from the 15th-18th of August, 2013. It is no surprise that parliamentary debate is the fastest growing form of inter-collegiate debating in the world, as its demand for a broad scope of knowledge, logical analysis, incisive wit, relentless argumentation and quick thinking, makes it both enriching and entertaining. Debating as a culture has become very popular among youngsters in India and is being actively encouraged by competitions such as these. Today Mount Carmel College is providing such a platform for students to engage in constructive debate for both seasoned and novice debaters.
