Time and location of Festival: Georgia, cities of Tbilisi and Mtskheta; 19-20-21-22 October, 2013 Goal of the Festival: development of children and youth creative art; acquaintance with choreographic and folklore culture of the world; exchange of experience between participants; strengthening of mutual respect and tolerance; activation of creative contacts; popularization of dances of Georgia and countries of the world; improvement of the level of qualification of choreographers. Festival agenda: Festival program provides for the following: 1. Participation in the Festival; 2. Organization of meetings of choreographers. Participants of the Festival-Competition are invited to participate in the following nominations: • Folklore dances; • Modern choreography (Jazz; Modern; Dances of the peoples of the world); • Children’s dances and songs; • Soloes. Participants in different nominations will be assessed by the following criteria: • Performance technique; • Expression; • Musicality; • Composition of choreographic performance; • Staging mastership; • Creative design of performance (stage; costumes; makeup; mask); • Individuality; • Originality. Festival participants: children and youth ensembles from different countries and regions of the age from 6 through 24 participate in the Festival. During competition days participants will be able to get acquainted with the stage and go through rehearsals according to planned schedule. Festival conditions: Festival will take place in the cities of Tbilisi and Mtskheta. Musical arrangement: musical arrangement is admissible both in live performance and phonogram. Participants have the right to perform in front of Organizational Committee, Jury and audience with two dances. All participants of the Festival will be awarded diplomas in different nominations, gratitude diplomas and other prizes. Participants will have the right to post logos/posters of their sponsors on stage. Festival funding: In order for the Festival to be conducted on the high level and for forming the prize fund (by self-funding principle) all foreign participant ensembles will along with application submit USD 150 per participant (hotel fees, catering, inside-country transportation included). Deadline for submission of applications is 31 September 2013. Along with submission of application, participant ensemble transfers 50% of the payment in advance. Deadline for submission of Applications expires at the end of September 2013. Upon submitting the Application, an ensemble participating in the Festival must transfer an advance payment fee of 50% of total amount to be paid.
