This is totally unjustified animal cruelty, actually many such experiments branded successful in animals were detrimental or even FATAL when carried over to human medicine. In this day & age with alternatives available the ONLY reason animals are still used is SOLELY one of cost, it does NOT say much about mankind in general when we allow this revolting science to still exist, something that was born out of necessity STILL exists & regarded by some as acceptable because they have NO ideas of the alternatives OR just dont give a damn. It is PURELY & SIMPLY a penny pinching financial decision even among the many BILLION DOLLAR companies that decide to make many animals life a LIVING HELL with many things done to them that our own imagination would have trouble conjuring. Animal Experimentation is something that should NOT exist & can be easily outlawed BUT we are the only ones who can force it to be banned. Politicians do nothing because many go onto being directors of these companies or their affiliates when the people have had enough of them in public life. Like many things people pretend to be outraged & sickened in the way some people can legally exploit, mistreat or inflict horrendous illness & injuries on animals in the so called name of science YET they do nothing ! Its time to act, contact YOUR politicians & DEMAND that this cruelty is ENDED NOW ! REMEMBER: TALK is cheap, ONLY action achieves anything.
