This is very sad & unfortunate. But safety measures were taken as the gun was in a special compartment zipped up in the purse. The child was 2... it is probable that he had not unzipped anything before, so Mommy probably thought her bases were covered. And, yes, no child should have access to their mothers purse, but how many times did your child get to it anyway? Yeah, I thought so... Gun haters just need to back off. This was an accident.
