This is what I call the RIGHT WAY TO INSTALL A FRAPPING SPIRAL STAIR CASE...!! You have to have the room for it, I have seen to many people think well I want it shove it in, and it blocks doors to living rooms, dinning rooms and in 1 case it blocked the door to the library completely !! I love this look, it makes you feel like the room is huge when in fact it might not be.. if you are building make sure that there is enough room to do what you want. I almost bought a house, the builder was upset when I told him take out the stair well the foyer is not big enough...the fool had changed the plan with out thinking the size of the foyer..and frankly that house has languished on the market for years !!
