This is what I want and pray for, for my Shannon. I try to be gracious when I am out with my Shannon shopping, at an event or just walking the park trails and people give ME looks like I dont belong out there with her doing life things. They give us looks like we are taking up too much space in there area and it hurts my sensibilities. I am grateful that Shannon is not aware of these looks, stares and hurtful attitudes. She has a disability, she is not stupid and neither am I... The power of can,can is amazing. I live this with my girl EVERYDAY, dont get in OUR WAY!!!
