This is what Im talking about, notice the wording and the insinuations (and NO, this is NOT and endorsement for Kay Hagen). But the facts are that the only gun-related legislation that has been enacted by the current administration has only expanded the rights of gun-owners, there has been NO legislation that has restricted gun owners rights at all. Although for the life of me I cant understand the opposition of having to register the 790 million citizen owned guns in this country - or how that is immediately interpreted as they are coming to take your guns away. My car is registered, my dog is registered, my political party is registered, so much is registered without any resistance. Is Kay Hagen Anti-Gun? I have no idea? Ive never heard her asked, or never heard her mention it. Ive just heard the assertions by the competition. And when you look at the facts - it just doesnt add up - anymore than I believe Thom Tillis is responsible for the abysmal state of the education system in NC. So tired of the idiotic banter about gun rights, when common sense can tell you that no one is coming for your guns or planning to. When the amount of guns owned by private citizens outnumbers the amount of guns owned by the police - then maybe there needs to be a conversation - but that has proved to be impossible. Facts show that the previous 5 administrations all enacted more restrictive legislation on gun control than the current one has (and by simply stating that, many who read this will interpret that as a Pro-Obama statement - which is a huge illogical leap). It is ridiculous ads like these that dominate the airwaves and influence the decisions of the voters. Sad! I cant wait for Wednesday to get here - and pray that there are no run-offs - yet we all know there will be.
