This is what happened last Saturday. Kevin Ward and Tony Stewart did not make any contact. Ward lost control of his car due to inexperience in the race car. Thats something that can be corrected. Then thinking 3 time Sprint Cup Champion and 2 time Indy Car champion Tony Stewart spun him out because he had no way of passing Ward got out of the car and ran down the track pointing at Stewart. There are two theories from here. Kevin Wards death was an accident. An accident like the ones that happen 25 times a year in the U.S. Did you know that three to four track workers are killed each year in hit by race vehicle accidents? The other theory is that Ward was suicidal at the time and no one knew. The accident gave him an opportunity to get his 15 minutes of fame. Its not the first time that someone has wanted to kill themselves with their race car or on the race track. Tim Richmond wanted to drive his car right into the wall after the aids diagnosis and its fallout. Getting out of a race car to confront another driver is not uncommon. And getting out of a car on the road to confront another driver is not uncommon either. Its usually employed by the police, but civilians do it too.
