This is what my little american eskimo would do for Javene. He would also rock her to sleep, watch over her 24/7 and come and get me of she started fussing. He would tip her bottle to make sure she finished it (as if mommy needed help). He would herd her around when she started crawling and never let her stray too far. She could yank on his ears, pull his tail and he would take it. I would try to stop her but... Sometimes, you arent fast enough. Kodie would grumble and chat with her and she would coo at him. They would often fall asleep together on my bed. If I disturbed her hed give me the look. Lol. He also stood over us during an earthquake at 3am and protected us when things from our shelving unit fell down around us. At 35 lbs he was probably about as perfect of a dog as you could get.
