This is where we were working last week. On top of Indian Mountain 20 miles from the Arctic Circle NW of here. 4230 elevation, the wind howls up there a lot of the time. Nick is trying to remove some of the hoar frost and ice from the back of the dish which carries radar data from the site back to Elmendorf Air Force base in Anchorage. The bottom camp is where all the facilities are, quite comfortable and good food! (10 miles by road, track vehicle access).
