This is why I HIGHLY discourage people from purchasing medications, especially something as important as heartworm prevention, from online pharmacies. I worked in a vet and we saw this on a regular basis. We had 2 clients in one summer purchasing products from 1-800 PETMEDS who ended up with dogs with heartworms. These were parents who were fanatical and NEVER missed a dose by even a day. The manufacturers of the products would not honor the products because they were not bought from a vet or real pharmacy. Please do your research, Loves. Sometimes cheaper is not the way to go.
