This is why I love New Orleans! Man in truck goes over bridge, common motorists help save him. The bridge he went over is on Lake Pontchartrain: Its the longest bridge in the US. So stopping in the middle of it means being over a body of water without land in sight. I used to drive over it every week to go from the monastery to the seminary. Going over the bridge on a non-traffic day takes about 45 minutes; with traffic can take over an hour! An accident: Two hours! Those are great people who helped. And great images too.
