This is why I love Toastmasters! This years World Champion of Public Speaking, amazing speech! I’m a sucker for the underdog, aren’t we all? I love to see that heroes journey come full circle whether it‘s in a novel, a movie or even the kid next door. I’ll be visiting a friend’s organization tomorrow afternoon to participate in a fundraiser, the name of the organization is Pure Game. Their mission is to provide positive mentors who champion the development of a child’s self-esteem and confidence, inspiring them to believe in themselves and the possibilities of a better life. Vulnerable children asking those questions I’m sure we’ve all asked at one time or another, “Am I good enough”, “Do I fit in” and “Have I got what it takes?” I think these mentors live Dananjaya’s message to the fullest letting their kids know “They see something in Them”.
