This is why I prefer the spirit of mutual tolerance of the 1992 consensus (common recognition by both Taiwan and mainland China of both the principle of one China and the coexistence of two national constitutional regimes within that China), rather than a totalitarian attitude trying to standardise even beliefs and feelings inside peoples minds and telling them you obey our ideas or youre dead (it sounds more Japanese than Chinese to my ears). Just let the peace roll and wait for a time when a greater agreeement is possible.
