This is why the NFL is so messed up - when the player reps vote on the new drug policy and if it passes, Welker and Gordon get reinstated immediately bc they wouldnt have been suspended under the new policy, YET, the new policy on a 1st time domestic violence offender is a 6 game suspension and Rice gets suspended indefinitely. There is no consistency with punishments and thats why Rice has a case to file a lawsuit.
