This is why we need habitat corridors,. I have told the city and county one freaking million times. Roads and highways are death traps for entire wildlife families.. at least according the the COB wildlife and habitat assessment from 1995. And they have done nothing. In fact they fill in wetlands, and create regional mitigation sites wedged against dense housing and the freeway. WE NEED TO SPEAK UP FOR WILDLIFE OR SLOWLY NOTICE THEY ARE GONE. It has already happened at our lovely new cornwall beach park, or didnt you notice?
