This isnt a recipe , but a tip. I buy my ground beef 5 lbs. at a time . Eyeball what I think 1 pound is. Put in freezer zip locks with date marked clearly. Open all bags & put the 1 lb. In ALMOST seal . Using a rolling pin to flatten , all the way to the top, squeeze out excess air & finish sealing . They lay flat , easy to store ,in freezer. And for people like me, who forget to DEFROST till the last minute.... These will defrost in about 30 mins.
