This isnt meant to kick a guy when hes down.... but the slow motion fall of Pastor Mark Driscoll that all of us who love women and egalitarianism saw coming is underscored in this short 2012 video. Mark abuses the Bible with his assertion that questioning leadership is a sin; it is that sort of uber-macho approach to leadership and to manhood that caused so many of us to view him as a pariah. I hope and pray he is in a season of learning, and wish he could do a little shutting up himself (perhaps sitting at the feet of women to unlearn what he thinks he knows). Scripture teaches that it is part of our Christian duty to question, to examine, and push those who presume to lead for good and biblically-rooted, loving of God and humans, answers. Respect leaders.... but dont *ever* forget that all they tell you needs to be examined closely in the light of the Scriptures and of your own conscience.
