It can be redeemed all at once or (2) hour long sessions. Drawing will be held at the close of camp on Thursday, you do not have to be present to win. With school out for Cobb and Cherokee from September 15-18, 2014 the Sandy Plains Baseball Academy and its staff of professional instructors invite you to attend this 4 day baseball camp which will be comprised of three sessions focusing on the primary skills of baseball. Register via the Sandy Plains Baseball Website (sandyplainsbaseball) All campers will receive a free Sandy Plains Baseball Academy t-shirt. SESSION 1: Baseball Fundamentals Camp Description: This is a 4-day session where our instructors will focus on all aspects of the game (hitting/bunting, infield defense, outfield defense, base running, catching, and pitching). Instructors will make emphasis on teaching proper mechanics while at the same time creating a fun, player friendly and safe environment. Dates / Time: Monday – Thursday / 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Ages: 5 to 14 Full Session: $130 online before camp begins / $135 walk up on 1st day of camp (checks only) Daily: $40 online before camp begins / $45 walk up SESSION 2: Infield / Outfield Defensive Skills Camp Description: This session is designed for defensive playing. Our instructors will focus on all aspects of infield and outfield play. Emphasis in this camp will be on mechanics and situational defense. Dates / Time: Monday & Tuesday / 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM Ages: 5 to 14 Full Session: $50 online before camp begins / $55 walk up on 1st day of camp (checks only) Daily: $30 online before camp begins / $35 walk up (checks only) SESSION 3: Hitting Skills Camp Description: This session is designed for the offensive end of the game. Our instructors will focus on hitting mechanics and situational hitting. Dates / Time: Wednesday & Thursday / 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM Ages: 5 to 14 Full Session: $50 online before camp begins / $55 walk up on 1st day of camp (checks only) Daily: $30 online before camp begins / $35 walk up (checks only) Equipment Players should come dressed to learn and play baseball. They will need to bring their own cleats, bats, gloves, catcher’s gear, batting gloves, baseball hat, baseball pants, & baseball cup. Reminders: • Players will need to bring their own drinks/snacks and are encouraged to bring lunch if staying for the morning and afternoon sessions. • Walk Up registration is available on the same day of the camp but is subject to availability. Only checks will be taken as payment for walk ups. • Please arrive at least 15 to 20 minutes earlier to allow for player check in / warm up.
