This last Sunday at the pride festival, someone stole my wallet right out of my purse. Of course I was all bummed out and felt slightly violated, cancelled my cards and took care of everything necessary for such an instance. I couldnt help but dwell on the idea that some person out there had access to my license and all of my information, and it made me doubt the goodness of society to a certain extent. Sure enough, today I get a call from a woman that works at the YMCA on the embarcadero saying that someone had turned in a pile of stuff with my license, school id, both credit cards, my insurance and health cards, and a picture of my little cousin Gracie that I always keep with me. Shes sending it to me in the mail on Saturday. Needless to say, I have a renewed sense of hope in society.
