This last week also marked an important 150th anniversary of Lincolns Gettysburg Address. I dont want speak of all the odd coincidences between their presidency, but rather the similarities as American Leaders. Both had incredible charisma. Their public speaking skills are still the gold standards to this day. They were both highly intelligent, yet extremely emphatic. Both were flawed, proving they were human. Both were murdered during times of great strife and conflict. Lincolns Gettysburg Address is readable at the bottom of the illustration below.
