This last week has been one of the most extraordinary weeks of my life. I turn 50 this Sunday, my best friends and family threw a surprise party for me a week ago. My daughter Kylie Danskin, her husband Richie and my Most Beautiful Granddaughter Jaiden flew in from Seattle. My best friend and soul muse Tiffany N. Josephs flew in from Denver. My family and friends from Phoenix all came together to say that they loved me, I could not stop the river of tears. I was so deeply honored and loved. My daughter and little joy Jaiden stayed with me this last week, every moment a gift. Jaiden learning to say Grandpa, swimming and laughing and eating toes. I among all men an most richly blessed. In my 40s I became an artist, a poet, a friend, a lover of love. In my 50s I will be an author, a lover, a truer friend, I will build a community for those who love from the soul and who drink from the River of Life.
