This last week we had two cases of abuse. One is a woman whose boyfriend would get drunk and would verbally abuse her in front of their child. This last week I also caught a man choking his ex-girlfriend while she slept. I talked to a couple people about this and they said, Well, you dont know what she did... Let me make this statement clear: There is NO excuse for violent abuse. None. If you think the answer to your relationship problems can be solved by violence, then no matter what other problems may be in your relationship, your violence is the most important one that must be solved. This is whether it is men or women, physical or verbal abuse. If you are using violence in your relationship, please get some help. Some mental health counselling or an anger group. If you are being abused, separate from the one who is abusing you. You dont have to break off a relationship, but separating from an abuser is a first step to get them help.
