This laying of a stone for Mary Jane really was a momentous occasion. Besides now having an officially named grave for her, this is the first time EVER that Joseph Merrick is being commemorated in a cemetery, a place where, some say, he should have been all along. There has never been anywhere to lay flowers for him till now, because he has no grave. The FoJCM and especially Glenn, have given the world a place to come, to lay tributes. Folks, what we have achieved is no small thing and I want us all to acknowledge that. Joseph finally has some small place, alongside his mother and thats a beautiful thing. All efforts combined, we have done a wonderful thing.
