This lesson is called to BUSY B-Being U-Under S-Satan’s Y-Yoke or B-Being U-Under S-Savior’s Y-Yoke First To start off I need to explain what a yoke is a piece placed in a horses mouth to guide the direction of the horse This lesson is to show us what direction our lives are in by what we do Interesting fact Satan tired to Get Christ under his yoke many times hear I will show two examples Because these show Christ had two ways to get off the cross But he showed obedience to God and gave his all W hitch cost him his life Luke 22:42 42 Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done. The cup was his death for are sins John 19:10 Do you refuse to speak to me? Pilate said. Dont you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you? First were going to cover Satan`s yoke= direction you see we as christian s think as long as were blessed God is happy with us. The devil can copy Gods blessings 2 Cor 11:14-15 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. He will bless us to stop us from doing Gods will for he is full of tricks And sometimes he will bless us well to get his way 1 Tim 6:7-10 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8 But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9 People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. Now were going to cover the Savior’s yoke=direction notice below Jesus told his disciples to take nothing with them The reason for this was are things tv,cars, games and whatever else were into are distractions Christ provided all their needs and instead of grief they had peace Mark 6:6-11 Then Jesus went around teaching from village to village. 7 Calling the Twelve to him, he sent them out two by two and gave them authority over evil spirits. 8 These were his instructions: Take nothing for the journey except a staff — no bread, no bag, no money in your belts. 9 Wear sandals but not an extra tunic. 10 Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you leave that town. 11 And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, shake the dust off your feet when you leave, as a testimony against them. So the true question hear is are you takeing nothing and shearing Gods Word by take nothing they put God first Or are you playing with your blessings and Giving God your least bottom line Do you have the peace of Christ or the grief of Satan only your heart knows this answer https://facebook/groups/BarthsBiblelessons/
