This letter from District Apostle Mkhwanazi was read in the congregations on Sunday. Please share with all your Youth friends: ***** My dear Brothers and Sisters YOUTH WEEK-END: 11-13 JULY 2014 It is with great joy that I inform you of the youth week-end that will be hosted in our district church on the 11th - 13th of July 2014. This event will take place at the Sagewood School in Midrand. Visiting our area for this special event are: District Apostle Michael Erich of Germany, District Michael Deppner and District Apostle Tshitshi Tshisekedi both from the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as some youth from Botswana and Mozambique. An interesting programme is planned for the weekend with the objective of reviving and launching the revised Youth Programme 2000+ previously introduced by District Apostle Kitching. The weekend activities will then culminate in a large youth service on the Sunday morning. The theme for 2014 from our Chief Apostle: “Labour in love” and our newly adopted youth brand: “WRU@T” (Where Are You At?), supported by the motto which reads: “Living – Loving – Choosing 4Christ” (for Christ) will set the tone for this event. We have also created a Facebook page for the youth within which further interaction on the event can be promoted. The name of the Facebook page is New Apostolic Church – South East Africa Youth and can be found at the following web address: facebook/nac.sea.youth. Today I would also like to approach you dear brothers and sisters living in Johannesburg and Pretoria to open your homes for accommodation wherever possible to our visiting youth. Although with the consent of their parents, some youth will want to arrange their own accommodation. We are also negotiating with some educational institutions for suitable and safe accommodation around Pretoria and/or Johannesburg. I ask that you also support our current youth fund-raising program in your respective areas as it is our desire to have this event funded from the proceeds of these activities. Further information regarding the hosting of visiting youth, as well as choir practices will be announced by your local leaders and be displayed on the notice boards.
