This lovely lady is my mom who is turning 86 years young today. The man in the picture is of course Macons awesome mayor and our friend, Robert Reichert. For those of you who have expressed concern because you havent heard from me in a few days, we are all fine but have been extremely busy moving my mom into a new retirement community. She is so happy and it is such a beautiful new place for her to live and enjoy her life. She is so well taken care of now that all she has to do is get up, shower, get ready for the day and do whatever her heart desires. I sincerely hope that I have inherited some of her strength and tenacity and zest for life. She was widowed at 60 when my precious daddy was taken from us so unexpectedly. It has taken quite some time for her to get into her Happy Place, but she is living the life and loving it. So the past few weeks have been spent with getting her moved, and trying to sort and separate all that she had to leave behind when downsizing. In addition to that, we had enjoyment of having my brother here with us last week from Gurnee, IL. We had lots to do in a short time, but thanks to my wonderful family (Pitch, Paige, Ben, Anna Kate and Lenny), we got it done and I couldnt be prouder to say my mom is happy and healthy at 86. Happy birthday Mama, we all love you!
