This makes me incredibly sad. For those living at or below the poverty line, its becoming desperate. Survival often depends on taking difficult jobs at terrible hours, and leaving children at a 24 hour daycare facility. Daycare providers swaddle babies, give bedtime baths, read stories and tuck them into bed. The fact that this is whats necessary for survival makes me wonder if class division levels in the USA are far worse than most of us perceive.
