This makes me so sad, it makes me cry. The other day I was trying to defend some of the police officers out there, but I ended up realizing that what I was doing was making excuses. Sure, some cops as individuals are not evil people, but in my own words I stated that I knew of the corruption and the wrong doings of the system and because of that I would never become a cop. Right after that I also said that if I knew that and recognized that then every cop out there must have known and thought the same thing, yet they still decided to become a cop.... thats why I am now going to stop making excuses for any cop. Yes, we may meet some nice ones, but still they must know that the system they are working for, our system, is corrupt and constantly putting innocent people behind bars. Having a badge should not give you more rights and privileges than the common citizen. What happened to this man was flat out murder. 6 people are not needed to subdue one man.... Even I can admit I have done some stupid shit in my life and one time in particular I let my anger get the better of me... because of that I was tackled by 4 large male police officers. 4 males tackling one 115 pound female. Looking back I have to ask myself, was that truly necessary? I complied right away because I have dealt with the cops many times in my life for multiple reasons. Even when the cops were there to help me, I recognized lies being told and unnecessary roughness. So now I revise my stance on cops and the ones I respect. I respect the cops whom have turned in their badges because they could no longer allow themselves to work for such a corrupt organization that allows innocent people to be harmed. I also respect the cops who stand against their fellow officers and bring light to corruption and misconduct. Lastly I urge everyone to talk anyone they love out of becoming a police officer. I also urge everyone to stand up against misconduct and corruption. Whenever you see any police interaction, record it because someone may need that video later on. I know some people will get offended by this, but the truth offends those who are not yet ready to hear it. Please watch and share this video.
