This marks the beginning of my power rankings for LCS EU and NA. Comment with thoughts or disagreements if you like. NA: 1. Cloud 9 - Despite the fact that they are not technically first place right now, you cant deny the fact that they are consistently the strongest team in NA. Their recent victory over the currently undefeated Fnatic only solidifies their potential dominance. 2. TSM - The addition of Bjergsen has made them extremely strong. He is able to carry in nearly every game and isnt find a lot of resistance in the NA scene so far. If this keeps up they may be the only real rival for C9. 3. Dignitas - This is a bit tentative since we havent seen Dig performing at this level in a very very long time. IF they can keep this level of play up, with Qtpie dominating all game they may even overtake TSM in pure skill. Does ADC actually beat APC? Well see soon. 4. Curse - Why hasnt Voyboy been playing mid for the last TWO YEARS?! His ability to carry and dominate lanes is really doing well for this team. Combine that with the best ADC on paper and you have a serious threat. Curse has shown a lot of weakness so they could very easily drop in rankings, but if they can coordinate the near perfect mechanics of Cop with the dominance of Voy they could also see a rise past Dig. 5. EG - Some people may disagree with this, and I am quite jaded BUT, in every game EG has pulled out a new and distinct team comp and strat that hasnt been seen... anywhere really. Innoxs strange top laners, Pobelters near mastery of his lane (when hes on point) combined with three of CLG.EU?! Yes please. They have all of the tools they need to begin a steady climb up the ranks. Their biggest downfall? Coordination. Its something that veteran teams find so easy, due to practice. EG doesnt have that yet. If they can get that picture perfect timing down soon, they could pass Dig or Curse. If they dont, they may just stay down at the bottom. The skill is there though. 6. CLG - This is all about Hotshot. If they can get Dexter over to the US soon, they will head up the ranks. But with Hotshot having to mid its been almost an instant win lane for whomever he plays. Although Nien looks very solid in top lane, Link looks completely out of place in the jungle. Its no ones fault really, Dexters visa didnt clear and they are working on fixing that. Sooner would be better CLG boys. 7. Coast - This is really a tie between XDG and Coast. They both have really solid rosters, but they arent playing with the confidence to beat any of the top 3. With nearly assured losses there, both of them will remain solidly at the bottom of this season. 8. XDG - I have one word for you: GODWATER. They have been making really good plays in all of their games, getting early leads and dominating. But they look lost in mid game and have no real direction to go. That leads to sloppy plays and terrible throws. All of the teams in NA have a very similar level of skill. C9, TSM might outclass them slightly, but not by that much. Its all a matter of coordination and listening to your shot callers. I expect these rankings to change quite a bit next week!
