This may be a good thing and a means to expose what is taking place in the country. The healthcare mandate reminds me of the 70s when desegregation of schools began. The reason was to insure that all children received a high level of education. Instead, the overall quality of educational standards were lowered. Instead of fixing the problems specific to center city schools and providing the funds to equalize education, the government went about it with a shotgun approach. In the end, just like healthcare, the outcome was not improved, it lowered the quality for everyone. The question that needs to be asked is, Why didnt Obama improve Medicaid and focus on a means to provide healthcare for those without insurance before determining that everyone must transition? Instead, for the past 3 years there has been a systematic dismantling of healthcare insurance providers in the country.
