This may sound like complaining, but we feel its very important. First off, we WELCOME competition. We will put our cakes up against anyone, even the big names you see on TV. However, we feel its a very unlevel playing field when unlicensed and unpermitted businesses sell cakes. We spend a lot of money every year to ensure were legal. Why shouldnt everyone else? We didnt know you needed both Health Department permits AND city/county business licenses and found out the hard way. If someone wants to sell cakes, GREAT. We fully believe our product speaks for itself and our customers are the greatest! We dont advertise. We depend on word of mouth and Facebook to spread the word about us. If someone wants to use an illegal baker, thats their perogative, but, it just isnt equal footing for all..
