This message is not for the faint of heart. I really don’t - TopicsExpress

This message is not for the faint of heart. I really don’t understand where a lot of people are getting that the Christian life is easy. The road is hard and the gate is narrow, you have to denied passion and desires of the flesh that you may have indulge in or want that is contrary to the word of God, you have to walk by faith when everything around you says otherwise, you have to fight when others choose to conform to the ways of the world, you will be outnumbered physically, there are forces whose purpose is to make your life as hard press as they can, you are automatically set apart to display the standard that God has set. Understand that we do have Christ working within us to do His will that does not mean we will not face opposition, persecution or suffering for doing so. Some many people who think they are Christian start on the path but as soon as a trial or test comes they flee to what they know instead of seeking who they should know. He lets us know that he has endured more hardship than any man or woman will ever go through so remember if they hate you they hated Christ first. God has definitely given us things to enjoy but never lose sight of the purpose which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his return for His people. Many people will not receive the message that a Holy and Perfect God is awaiting to bring judgment on all for the life we have lived on this earth and that rejection of the Salvation of Jesus Christ and His will is the biggest offense that gives you eternity in Hell. Who wants to hear that in there flesh? Walking by the spirit is a constant battle but through Christ Jesus as we hold on to his word and bare His fruit He will never leave us nor forsake us. Lord God help us to see that dependence on you is vital to living out the spirit filled life, loving our enemies and ministering your word no matter the circumstance.
