This might bring you a smile, and Happy New Year to everyone... So, having been in PACFLT, LANTFLT CENTCOM, and everywhere in between, most folks on a ship who dont know what we do, refer to us as F-ing OSs. Personally, I wear this as a badge of honor. From the ETs - the F-ing OSs broke the repeater. From the BMs - the F-ing OSs painted over the rust again. ...and so on. Well, I was somehow able to sneak one by the Virginia DMV, and my trucks plates for the last few years have been as you will see below... priceless. Not sure if this is still a thing in the Fleet, but the howls of laughter I saw driving around Hampton Roads (NORVA) makes me think it still is. I hope all you F-ers have a great New Year!! :)
