This might seem a bit weird but please bare with me. My dear Aunt who I mentioned yesterday went out after our visit to post a birthday card. Leaving the post office she was confronted by a group of youths on bikes if some description. The end result was she had a fall resulting in a through pelvis fracture and 12 staples in her scalp. My aunt is 78 weighs less than 70 pounds and is only 4ft 8 or9 inches tall. I dont think the kids meant to hurt her but realistically I would have expected them to move out of her way not the other way round. She is however doing well in hospital and as usual for her downplaying everything. So today I am grateful she wasnt more badly hurt. I am grateful she is doing so well in the hospital. I am grateful that she has retained her sense of humour and acceptance of circumstance. Most of all I am grateful she is still my Aunty. Hope this finds you all well and safe see you on the flipside.
