This mom is looking for some support: I am a mom of 2 yr old b/g twins. I love my kids with my entire heart so I dont want this to come off like I dont like them or something. Im having trouble with discipline. I find myself yelling ALOT. My kids climb on everything! Counters, inside sinks, on the outer sides of stair cases on to hot stove, they run out of the house or away in any public place! It may sound like Im not child proofed but all my friends will say that I have the most child proofed home of any person they have ever met! Today I yelled and slammed their doors to their bedrooms because they were getting way too crazy and it was nap time. After 10 min I started to cry because I knew it was excessive and I hated myself for it. I dont want my kids to fear me. I want to instill rules and respect differently but timeouts dont work! Please help with ideas on disciplining my very independent, outgoing, fearless twins. **Admin: Please no rude or judgmental comments. We are here to help and support each other. Thank you!
