This morning I am grateful for the Murrieta Police Department! I awoke to news of the two schools near my house being on lockdown. Two armed robbers had robbed Right-Aid on Cal-Oaks (or something to that effect) and were on the loose, literally on my street. Helicopters were buzzing over head. I dont know the details - but I know the end results. The Murrieta PD chased down and faced down the armed robbers that were roaming my neighborhood and apprehended them! Thank you Murrieta PD for your good work! The scriptures say in Romans 13:3-6 - Do you want to be on good terms with the government? Be a responsible citizen and you’ll get on just fine, the government working to your advantage. But if you’re breaking the rules right and left, watch out. The police aren’t there just to be admired in their uniforms. God also has an interest in keeping order, and he uses them to do it. That’s why you must live responsibly—not just to avoid punishment but also because it’s the right way to live. That’s also why you pay taxes—so that an orderly way of life can be maintained. Murrieta PD, you face this kind of stuff every day so that our community can be orderly and safe. It just so happened that today, your work saved the day in my particular neighborhood. I am grateful for your good work!
