This morning I dreamed about my Grandfather and George both still being alive. It happens time to time and i dont mind, I miss the company of both. Growing up I have very little directness and honesty provided by others in my life. My grandpops was always so morally sound, it wasnt about what you felt or liked or wanted to hear, it was about what was RIGHT. In a world were everyone wants to sugar coat and ignore error he was right there, humble enough to say I was wrong and brave enough to ask How can i atone for my mistake?. Equally he didnt let transgression slide. He wasnt judgmental, often first asking do you feel u did something wrong and if so (or not) why?. He encouraged me to self analyze and to view situations objectively from the POV of the other people affected by it. These are qualities that have often put me on peoples bad side...but MORE often earned the respect of people who value those virtues. I still very much miss George too. Just a very chill, happy, curious friend who did more for others than himself. RIP brother.....
