This morning I found out my stepson, starting 10th grade, cannot get his schedule until we pay school fees. Those fees are in excess of $125 per student. Also today I went to vote. The only issue was the school levy. Are you picking up what Im laying down? According to the local newspaper todays vote was largely financed by the school district. The Lebanon School Board would have us believe they do not have enough money. Yet, they are jacking us for hundreds of dollars per family for school fees AND they can afford to pay for a levy that raises our taxes so they can have more money. A lot if families cannot afford these fees. Withholding a schedule from a student puts that student at a disadvantage. Tell me again Mark North and Esther Larson how it is all about the children.
