This morning I got a phone call about a boxer who was sitting in the fields guarding the dead body of his little friend. People have witnessed that his little bouddy got hit by a car and his loyal friend, the boxer, was trying to rescue him and dragged him across the street through the bushes in a field and was trying to comfort him and wake him up. Unfortunately his little friend was dead right away. But this young boxer did not give up and was guarding his dead body. It took me one and a half hours sitting in the dirt feedings cheeseburgers and boiled chicken until he finally came close enough. I took my little chihuahua out of the car what seemed to make the boxer comfortable enough to let me put a leash around his neck. He walks with me to my car some in the back of it and immediately settle down totally exhausted. We are trying to find his owner and if we cant then he will be up for adoption by the end of this week. Hes great with other dogs and then is very well mannered and very sweet and calm. Approximately 2 to 3 years old.
