This morning, I had the pleasure of touring the KRI Imam Bonjol. The Imam Bonjol is Parchim class corvette.A corvette is a small, maneuverable, lightly armed warship, smaller than a frigate but larger than a coastal patrol craft. This vessel is designed for anti-submarine warfare in the shallow waters. Ducking through the hatches, stepping over the knee knockers and slowly going down the ship ladders brought back some very nice old memories.
